Just watched the finale of this show last nite. I would say that it is a very nice show and very touching ... It's about a fat girl who falls in love with a trim and good looking guy who despises fat people but it has a very happy ending. I was just telling Frank that it is something like us ... hehe !
Fei Tin Hei See Synopsis:
Since childhood, Filipino-born Chinese Ho Mei Tin (Myolie Wu Hang Yi) has been chubby. She receives much ridicule in the slimming obsessed Hong Kong. Disheartened, she decides to return to the Philippines. However, she discovers that someone has been replying to her perspectives on love. She decides to stay to find this person.
Tin’s boss, Daai Hei (Andy Hui Chi On) is displeased with her chubby figure, so he always picks on her. He could never have imagined that one day he would fall in love with her. To forget Tin, he quickly marries his girlfriend, Sung Man Yi (Claire Yiu Ka Nei). Meanwhile, the hopeful romantic Tin puts her efforts to running a wedding planning shop. Unexpectedly though, her first customer is Hei!
Myolie really put on 42 pounds just to act in this show and after the show she lost it ... sounds so easy man !!!
But actually I dont really care about being fat other than the health aspect of it. Frank does not mind so what the heck. When I was younger during the courting days, I was not fat ... just a bit big size because I am tall but after getting married and having 3 kids .... I guess my shape now is not that bad ... hehe ! But of course as you get older you shouldnt be putting on weight for health reasons.
