S.H.E. - Selina, Hebe, Ella

Ella

Hebe

Divas now !
Divas in bird nest !

This is a backdated post ..... went for the SHE's concert in Bukit Jalil and it was a blast. The girls have grown up now and they revamped their costumes and dance chereography to make it more fresh and current and I loved it! They have come a long way and I hope they don't disband in the near future (heard some news about them going their own ways). The fans also celebrated Hebe's birthday that night and bought her a jelly cake. Could feel that Hebe has the biggest fan base because everytime her name is being mentioned, the cheers from her fans are the loudest.

I attended their previous concert two years ago at the Merdeka Stadium, tickets courtesy of Jack Lim. They have grown up so much since and each one of them have their own cuteness and uniqueness. I remembered during the previous concert, Ella sang a song she wrote for her dog who has gone to heaven and she cried when she sang that song .... it was so touching.

What a weekend ....

Attended Sammi's Love Mi World Tour concert in Genting on Friday night, stayed the night and came back the next morning. Then off to Tropicana Mall to see Fahrenheit ... yes Wu Chun is in town again!!! Then went for a super duper concert at night at Stadium Putra.

Phewww ... events back to back. Now I've got to crack my head and let the juices flow .... and tons of pictures to edit .... this is life man :)

Sammi had 7 change of awesome costumes and we could snap away the whole night. She was fantabulous.

Fahrenheit was a bit disappointing because they did not sign for all .... I guess constraint by timing again. They did not sing ... just talk a bit and autograph session only.

Super Junior was electrifying ... my chair was vibrating the whole night and my heart was throbbing together with the beat of the music. The ELFs were wild and screaming away. After the concert ended, I could hear ringing in my ears ....

Will be posting pictures soon ..... :)

Sammi Cheng Love Mi Concert 2010

Will be going for Sammi's concert this Friday at AOS .... given a room to stay for the night, as usual. This is the very first time I'm catching her in action ... wondering how her concert is going to be like.

The next night is going to be .... tada .... SUPER JUNIOR's concert. Heard so very much about this group of 13 members, biggest boy band in the world! Keeping my anticipation at a high level ... we shall see :)

Lee Hom " Music Man" Live In Malaysia - 2 May 2009

Move over Indiana Jones, Batman, Superman, Incredible Hulk, Bruce Lee, Lara, Ironman and Spiderman, because we have the latest superhero in town ….. THE MUSIC MAN with his weapon, a dragon-shaped electric guitar named Bahamut and he is here to save the world through his music.

Wang Lee Hom sang, bbox, rap, played his Bahamut, the grand piano, drums and violin and even did a dance routine in front of 25,000 odd fans who sang along with him. He showed his vocal prowess immaculately and versatility in handling different musical genres such as mandopop, rock, jazz, R&B and also traditional Chinese music. Everything blended in perfectly from the band, the huge digital screens, back up dancers and lightings.

Danell Lee (Malaysian Idol Season II winner) opened the show with his energetic rendition of “Yin Wei You Ai” in which he did a few hip hop moves. Karen Kay (Project Superstar Season III winner) was the second guest performer. She did a medley of two songs “Wo Lian Ai Ler “and “Ka Tong Ren”, dancing to cute moves.

Finally the moment everyone was waiting for came and the crowd was screaming for him. Lee Hom’s Bahamut made a grand entrance, coming down from the top and landed on the floor. Then it made its way back up again. Then the Music Man came down in something that looked like a small flying saucer. After singing the third song, he changed his guitar to the Bahamut and stunned the crowd. After singing the fifth number, Lee Hom came down stage and the crowd went frenzy and everyone rushed to the front.

He mesmerized the crowd while playing on the grand piano, singing a few songs which included “Ni Bu Zhai” and “Wei Yi’. Nearing the end of the concert, Lee Hom did a disappearing act. He went into a box on the stage and the next second he appeared somewhere in the middle of the stadium. The crowd started to mob him but luckily, the organizers have already stationed security personnel on both sides of the walkway to escort him back on stage.

Lee Hom sang a total of 28 songs with 3 songs during encore. His final number for the night was Kiss Goodbye which is aptly for the closing. Lee Hom acknowledged his fans from different countries by speaking in their respective languages. Fans from Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Singapore, Australia and last but not least Malaysia and the whole stadium roared. I am very sure that his fans do not want to kiss him goodbye ….

Appreciation time ...

On 19 Apr 2009, we went for the Easter Celebration Concert held at the PJ Civic Centre in conjunction with Easter. This event was jointly organised by the All Petaling Jaya Resident Association Coalition, Christion Federation Of Malaysia and The Councillors of MBPJ. This year was the first time they organised this concert. The VIP was Teresa Kok and many others MP & Aduns from PKR. We met up with Teresa Kok after the concert and took a picture with her. She's a very friendly person and she even asked us to email the picture to her.

The performers were Jaclyn Victor, Juwita Suwito, Patrick Leong and the Philharmonic Society of Selangor. The MC was Robert Lam and I think he did a great job that night.

I am totally amazed with Patrick Leong .... Robert Lam introduced him as a scaled down Pavarotti and truly he was !!! He has a very powerful voice and sang very well. He sang mostly songs he wrote himself ... christian songs which were very nice and meaningful.
